Indianapolis, IN — The annual Best in Show awards recognize the best of the best in five categories: display, vehicle, green initiative, new product/service and on-site marketing at BusCon Expo. Each year, exhibitors gather to share information, products and technology, but only a few can take home bragging rights.
This year, Freedman Seating is honored to accept the award for “Best New Product or Service” for the Eleganza Collection by FMS Seating. The new line of executive seating offers three distinctive seats with impeccable comfort and style: the Napoli, the Bellagio, and newest edition, the Trieste. FMS Managing Director, Christy Nunes and Product/Sales Manager, Dave Dygert were on hand at BusCon Expo at the Indiana Convention Center to showcase the collection.
Why was the Eleganza collection created?
With a noticeably growing demand for upscale, executive style seating, Freedman’s management team made the decision to develop and produce a line of seats utilizing resources at its newly founded FMS Seating in Rochester, IN (formerly Braun Seating).
“Freedman Seating has a history of developing quality products that meet the needs of the market. In line with this tradition, we at FMS Seating saw the need for a high end, quality product to service the growing limo bus and executive shuttle market,” said Nunes. “When you buy an Eleganza collection seat from FMS Seating, you get a beautiful, comfortable, high-end seat with all the service, quality, and support you have come to associate with the Freedman name.”
What has been the inspiration behind the collection’s design and engineering?
Eleganza seats are designed using tested Freedman frames for maximum comfort on longer rides, featuring contoured foam, lumbar supports and additional upscale options.
“When we started designing seats for the Eleganza collection, we wanted to create a seat that looked sporty and sleek, yet so comfortable that you just melt into the seat,” said Nunes. “It was our goal to create a luxurious looking seat with ultimate comfort, while utilizing the proven structure and safety features that are synonymous with Freedman Seating. Quality, comfort, and safety are the cornerstones of everything we do.”
What sets these executive seats apart from others?
All Eleganza seats are built using proven Freedman Feather Weight and 3PT structures that have been tested and proven in the field for decades.
“Our new Trieste seat is the only executive style seat on the market that utilizes an adjustable 3-point shoulder belt for maximum comfort and safety,” said Nunes.
“Upscale options include padded arms, drink holders, foot rests, USB and electrical outlets, as well as snack trays suitable for laptops. With this new line of executive seating, our customers can now get everything they need to cover all segments, from one source,” added Dygert.
With the introduction of the Eleganza Collection, FMS Seating will lead the market in safety, comfort, and style.
