Indianapolis, IN -- The mission of the Indiana Manufacturing Extension Parternship (MEP) is to advance economic prosperity, health, and quality of life in Indiana and beyond.A non-profit organization based and managed at Purdue University, MEP's professionally trained staff includes experts from a variety of business and manufacturing sectors. As advocates for Indiana's thousands of manufacturers, its staff leverages resources in both the public and private sectors to help identify areas of improvement, streamline processes, and ultimately increase competitiveness. They serve businesses throughout the state with offices in Anderson, Evansville, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Jasper, New Albany, South Bend, West Lafayette, and Westville.

Manufacturing is a central part of the state and regional economy, from small family-owned manufacturers to global institutions to entrepreneurs who have chosen Indiana as the place to build manufacturing companies. The Made in Indiana initiative showcases the state's vast array of products and the companies that are manufacturing them, locally.

Our objective is to highlight the contributions manufacturing makes to the state's economy and to feature companies that are customer focused, forward thinking, continuously improving their productivity, and desire to grow and compete both locally and globally. (www.mep.purdue.edu/made)
